I cant get onto the internet! I have a connection set up but it keeps asking me for a WPA pre-shared key. Can someone tell me what this is? is it the password to the router or is it something else?

Please elaborate. Which hardware, router (latest firmware?), settings, which exact authentification mode?
Which services did you try? Can you ping? "the internet" is vague. :-)

Yes, that's the password (established by the router) for a wireless network.
