It shouldn't be. Did you go to account first and wait for the # to show up there? It's usually a little slow.
If not it could be your provider blocking Google Voice..

Do you think AT&T is blocking GV, since I have AT&T as my 3G provider.

It could be, they have been quite adament about not letting streaming video or VOIP over their lines. I just know there should be nothing from DialCentral's side that blocks 3G usage. Try logging into Google Voice and doing a call from there that calls your # you have for your tablet.
