I've tried searching for this but haven't found any related topics... It's a little tricky though as everyone calls the external flash drive something different. So basically I set my n810 up to boot off of the removable flash drive beneath the kick stand and it's lucky if it lasts a day, even when idle the entire time.
When I boot off the internal flash like normal it lasts a very long time, like 5 or 6 days, maybe even more.
Has anyone else experienced this? The two installations are very similar and I've only made minor changes to the OS on the external flash. If this is due to having to access the external flash as the primary partition, is this an unavoidable plight of booting off the external flash, or is there anything that can be done to reduce power consumption of the external flash?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thank you.
