This isn't a big deal, but have any of you noticed that the L headphone is significantly shorter than the R headphone on the included headset? Is there any particular reason for this?

You plug the short one into one ear, and run the long one behind your head to the other ear.

I think this yields a theoretical improvement in the earbuds' ability to hang on your shoulders if you take them out to hear something. Or maybe it just looks cooler that way.

Of course, since the left one is short, if you prefer to have the cable run on the left, you're in luck; if you'd rather it was on the right, you have to put up with reversed stereo...

Well I do usually pocket my phone and/or n810 in my left pocket, so that works for me :P And thanks for the link Tim, I wasn't sure for the search criteria for that, guess I should have looked harder :/

This arrangement also positions the mic closer to your mouth as it would be with some monoral headsets.
