Hi

I currently have RDP setup on my 770 (might be getting 810 soon) which runs as a remote control for my home cinema.

One big problem with this is I can't display a battery indicator on the screen.

Is there anyway to write a script that will run (say every 5 mins) and save the currenty battery and wireless signal levels to a webpage.

If I could do have a script that made a request to (for example)

http://192.../status.php?battery=##

That would be perfect.

Any help would be very grateful

Hi

Thanks looks brilliant.

But somehow need to get this over to my computer so it can be shown on the RDP session.

As the n810 can't read windows network shares (as far as im aware?) what other way could i do this?

I'd think you could write a sh script and use curl (you can install curl). Not sure if you could find kcbatt anywhere since the link here is dead: http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?p=155915 but that could get you the battery level. Not sure if battery-status can be run without activating the applet. I'd write you the script if you figured out how to get those 2 levels from the command line.

Really stuck on thisone.
I have tried setting up my N810 to access windows shares, with the intention of saving the battery info there.
But no luck.
Just cant install the application that works.
