I've been using the included web browser to access my Google Apps email account, but gmail loads really slowly on the N810. And most email actions are really slow even after gmail loads.

Is there a faster way to do email? Maybe install a mobile browser? Or maybe use an IMAP or POP3 application? If so, which application?

What is the most efficient way to do email (gmail) on the N810? Thanks.

I suppose the included email program work with gmail, but since I don't use it I cannot tell.
Claws works well with gmail/imap.

Personally I find the html version perfect, but there is also http://m.gmail.com that is even simpler.

I used Claws mail for quite a while - seemed to work very well. Of course, if you have a lot of messages in your Gmail account, it'll take quite a while for Claws to download all the old mail messages. For me, it would download only a few hundred at a time, so I had to restart it frequently.

That will be great for me. I'll give it a try.

I have only a 19.2 cell phone connection and am always tweaking to find the most/best efficient way to access all internet info including Gmail.

I use an iPhone site with a grease monkey script...

Where it really shines though is in portrait mode.

I'll 2nd that. I've been using IMAP and the N810's included Modest mail package and IMAP to access my Gmail for months. The only downside is that it uses the N810's contact data and not that of Gmail. I didn't find this unacceptable.
