Right now, I have the build in map application that comes with the N810, Maemo Mapper, and QTmapper (like maemo mapper but less popular). I was wondering if I would be able to delete the original N810 map and still be able to use maemo mapper. I wanted to free up some memory and that seems like the most obvious place to look.

Also, If I ever want to get the map back, would I be able to download it again?

- Yes you can delete the wayfinder (built in Nokia map application) maps if you want to free up space.
- You can also move the mapdata into a map/ folder on any of the two memory cards and wayfinder will still be able to use them
- You can download the newest maps for your country (and many others) after deleting the current maps

PS: if this answers your question you can press the Thanks button :-)

lol. Drat, beat me to it. On a side note, there's a script out there for downloading google maps to your tablet in sqlite format. It'll allow you to build a map database on your pc rather than your tablet (it's generally quicker that way) which you can then copy onto your tablet and use from there.
