I am currently going through the posts adding them to the project tracker. I avoided using it since the feedback was so lightweight I felt I'd never view it. With the pace of things now I'm thinking that will be the preferred solution

DialCentral is in Extras, right? Why not here:
https://bugs.maemo.org/enter_bug.cgi...ication=Extras
Ah, it's only in Extras-Devel:
http://maemo.org/packages/view/dialcentral/
People can always contribute bug reports there ^ , by clicking on a package version and adding their report to the comments. Or, you could contact Andre and/or Jeremiah to find out how to add your app to the Maemo Bugzilla.

So, i just got a very weird thing. I had my alarm set on 5. I thought that was too low, so i set it to 1. it still wasn't giving me notifications, so i was going to set it back to 5 and look for other reasons.
instead of the up arrow i hit the down arrow, accidentally set it to 0. Then all hell broke loose.
On the bottom of the screen, I have an error thats "org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.ServiceUnknown: the name com.noki..." And i can't get it to display the rest.
The alarm is permenently set to off, with zero is the number.
Any help?
Edit: and by alarm i mean notification
Edit: Ran it in terminal. complete error is "name com.nokia.alarmd was not provided by any .service files."

Hey, I don't know if this is something new and exciting or old and boring, but I came across something just now.
An hour or so while ago, I decided I wanted to reflash my tablet. I looove that minty fresh tablet feeling!
So reflash I did, and when I reinstalled DC 1.04-5, I got an error, "no module named dbus".
Well, I know I was running 1.03 be4 I installed 1.04-5 earlier tonight, so I uninstalled 1.04-5 and installed 1.03.
1.03 worked fine. But still, I just got my notifier, and I missed it already....I wasn't about to go down without a fight.
So I Gaegle-searched the error, and came across a 2+ year old post about some battery status app. Somebody got the same error, and it was recommended to him that he needed to install python2.5-dbus.
So I gained root, and apt-get installed python2.5-dbus, and then reinstalled DC 1.04-5.... and [madden]BOOM![/madden] it works fine now.
I hope that's useful. If not, then sorry for wasting your time.

Suggestion. When in an sms conversation, it always starts with the first messages with a scroll bar. You should make it so default it displays the last messages.
Now how about that home applet for making DialCentral calls? And make me a sandwich while you're at it.
edit: I'm going to be watching the request tracker for you to add "Make me a sandwich".
