Thank you for your compliments...

Just to make some things clear. I'm a former Nokia employee, but since the Nokia Siemens Networks joint venture I'm now pushed to the NSN side. I do no longer (few months already) have access to any of the information concerning the Nokia stuff. Therefore any comments I'm making now are more or less educated guesses...

Now where did I put that costume adhesive? My mustache is beginning to fall off. (Not to mention my faux 90210 sideburns.) If only...

I want to say thanks too for the good development; it is nice to see that the long period of time was (presumably) necessary in order to integrate telephony functions rather than to drastically change the UI into a iPhone wannabe.

However, it is in my opinion premature to draw conclusions based on leaked screenshots rather than actually trying out an operating device. Looking forward to trying out the new functions, task manager/switcher, etc.

I appreciate the sentiment, but I cannot take even the remotest credit for this. I had nothing at all to do with Fremantle. Give it all to the Maemo team.

Thanks to all Nokia and Maemo people, that have made such a great product!
Thanks also for their patience and that they put up with all our whining about screen-size, cellular, d-pad, keyboard and so on. We're just too excited and passionate about Maemo, so forgive us that our passion sometimes gets out of hand.

After the presentation...
...I don't have words any more. I've got stunned.
I never felt so much I had to say thanks for a piece of consumer techs.
But it's deserved indeed. Thanks
