Wow. Very pretty. I can't wait to see what it'll cost me through T-Mobile.

I like the new kickstand. It took me a few minutes to figure out where it was coming from (the lower half of the camera bulge). It makes for shallower angles (I prefer the "more upright" angles of the N800 and N810), but more importantly, it doesn't obscure things like the USB port at all.

And the aesthetics of both the device and (what we see of) the UI are _amazing_. Beautiful. Great promo videos too!

I still have to wait and see how I feel about the screen size (though, it's similar size to my G1's screen, but much better resolution, so I'll probably be fine with that), and the keyboard. As I said a while ago, the keyboard will probably make or break the sale for me :-}

It says "Synchronize with your work calendar" -- my work calendar is Oracle Calendar. Does that mean it'll have SyncML for calendar? (yes, I see the super-imposted Exchange thing there; still Nokia says it'll sync with my work calendar... ).

Seriously though: SyncML for Calendar (Oracle Calendar and GooSync for Google Calendar)? SyncML for Contacts (GooSync for Gmail Contacts)? Both are rather important to me. Something like Gmail Notifier, too?

Bluetooth profiles? I see headphones, but what about FTP, DUN, PAN, BIP, HID? (only, unlike the N800 and N810, I would assume DUN and PAN would be as the "server/modem" and not the "client")

Last, that REALLY does look like a stylus well down in the lower corner (below the headphone jack). yes? no?

Thank you for this. I didn't think Nokia would overlook having community representation at Nokia World, but it's wonderful to have a presence confirmed. I've been doing my best to wait patiently, knowing any such plans had to be covered by NDAs, but it hasn't been easy.

So again, thank you.

And thank you to Tim and Andrew also. Do us proud.

from youtube:
TravvyG wants a "Compactive touch screen like the iPhone"
who wants to explain, that a capacitive screen is not as good as a resistive touchscreen?
they all want to have multitouch, and believe, that apple is the only one who have a product with a capacitive screen^^

OMG

Is it just an error made in the video at 0:40 where they take a picture with the camera they just touch the side of the hardware-camera-button, where we thought it is an irda port?

"Video recording at up to 848 × 480 pixels (WVGA) and up to 25fps"

Wow, so I WAS wrong with my VGA 30fps assumption

WVGA recording with that Carl Zeiss lens should be sweet

Looks great! Congratulations to all the team.

One thing I can't see: can one sync the Calendar to Google Calendars?
(I see the sync with Outlook, but what possible use is that? (For a Linux
user :-) ))

I just realized that, for the Google side of that, the fact that Google can impersonate Exchange now probably means I can just tell the N900 that my Google account is an Exchange account.

But that still leaves out accessing my work's Oracle Calendar. Hopefully, like S60, Maemo 5 has SyncML :-)
