I just picked up the N800 to remotely enable me to monitor and control my retail businesses. I use Lukwerks (wilife) video surveillance which streams WMA files I think. It does not appear to work. Also - I use LogMeIn to control remote PC's. This connects but when I select a PC to control I get an error message "your session has timed out or host went offline during your connection attempt".

Please advise if these applications can be configured to work. I am new to Linux and Opera - so I am at a loss.

Thanks,

Jeff

NOTE: SPECULATION ONLY HERE!!!

The Lukwerks encodes video in WM 9 -- I don't think that the 800 supports it (although I only have a 770). The computer requirements are Windows 2000 or XP -- the 800 runs Linux. Don't know exactly what the OS does, or whether you can simply log in as a terminal session on the 800 -- that may work, but in any case, if the stream is only WM9 and the 800 doesn't support it, then it doesn't matter.

As for logmein, again, it looks like a windows product. Linux has similar functionality, but again, not compatable. Sorry for the (probably) bad news.

if it works what they suggest could you post about the speed, as I want to get a N800 but need it to work with Logmein as well.

Thanks and good luck!
