Wow that is too much effort. Can someone just give me a step by step with links to software on how to get up and running so I can begin :S I'm a newb to this, a mentor would be great *sigh.

Oh well... you could try fishing if your looking for a low effort hobby.

Microsoft Windows 7 32 bit or 64 bit? Look, the OS is not released yet, so no wonder you're getting no support. Add to that the Maemo 5 SDK is beta. All these factors is asking for trouble.

Stick with an OS which is supported by its vendor and has an adequate user base in the Maemo community. Then the provided solutions on page 1 will work.

I'm on 64bit, I haven't had any problems with any software that works on vista 64. I'll try the instructions on page one, thanks.

So I downloaded Esbox x86, but I don't know which file from here I need: http://tablets-dev.nokia.com/maemo-d...-downloads.php

hardy, gutsy, intrepid... wtf? lol help appreciated as always.

I'm working on creating a virtual PC image (should be runnable in XP, Vistal & W7 w/ no problems) and it will hopefully have everything installed. I might have it done tomorrow.
