Hi

I've seen that many have Orb working on their N800. I cannot get it to work. When I try to open any of my channels or stored video the media player triggers but nothing else happens. Blank screen with real logo only. It works perfectly on my iPaq though. I have tried changing the default player to real player only and setting the speed to low but nothing works.

Any tips?

Do you have RealPlayer or RealAlternative installed on your DESKTOP computer? That's the thing that snagged me back when I first started playing with it. Also, from the desktop, log in to Orb, set the player as Real, and try locally to see if it can transcode to Real properly.

Right, I'll try that as soon as I'm back home (travelling right now).

Thanks!

Does the Real logo ever go away? I see this when I try to stream at anything above 200K (connection speed). The Real logo eventually goes away and the Media Player essentially stops. When I hit play, it will display "Video Resolution not supported."

Try forcing a 160K connection speed and see if that helps.

Right, haven't had much time to test but I installed Real Player on my desktop and forced the speed on the N800 to low (50K) and hey: It works!

Now I'll start experimenting with what speed I can get away with.

Thanks!
