This FINAL version of Maemo SDK+ has been tested on several Ubuntu and Debian distributions running on 32bit i386 architecture. This document explains how to set up Maemo SDK+ on Debian.

It doesn't appear to have scratchbox2 and Qt. So I may be tempted to build an image myself, starting with a 32 bit version of debian. If that turns into a project in itself, I'll go for the image you posted.

Upon running "aptitude update", this is the output:
