Neither the standard player nor Canola 2 will play audio on my new N810.

Any suggestions? I can hear skype and other programs fine, but when I try to play a song, the media players are stuck seeking.

The Media player starts up, but it just shows the loading icon, but the file never loads. The files are on the internal memory.

The files are not corrupt?

Might be worth installing mplayer using application manager, then trying to play one of the files from the command line to see what it says.

fixed. I installed mplayer, which never displayed the problem. Eventually the problem stopped appearing on canola and the standard player.
