while i was watching the one hour Q&A with jussi http://mynokiablog.com/2009/09/16/vi...ommunity-guys/ i noticed that the marketing idea behind the N900 is to push the term mobile pc.

well thats not a new thing for nokia, i found on youtube two old commercials for the N95

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WS54VEJF5Gw
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iFq4XNx7Erg

they are focused on the user and their needs, where the video for the N900 introducing maemo 5 is more praising the device itself.

For me a PC, doesn't mater if its mobile or not, it's not very useful without the user.

i would be interested in other opinions and do you think the mobile pc works on this device more than it does on the N95?

The OS on the N900 is basically a desktop OS, bringing pretty much everything from your desktop PC to your N900 in your pocket. The N95 does not have this functionality although obviously allows Internet connectivity.

The N900 is far more customizable in the terms of Internet browsing also, offering multitasking with several pages open, and live at any one time.

The device also offers four customizable homescreens, again, bringing more to the table for the user.

IMHO they shouldn't have wasted the term 'mobile computer' on the N95..

It's definitely a more suitable title to be given to the N900 and the N900 may very well live up to it.

Well I'm for having busybox around but mostly as a backup. I'll certainly install zsh on it if I'll be able to get it to build
