Does anyone thing one month (after release) should bring it closer to $500 or sub $500 ?
Depends how well the phone does/is received. Good sales and reviews dont count on the price dropping any time soon

Not to mention Amazon has been on a pre-order sales thing recently. Where before release they'll drop the price down for people who pre-order and what not. But once the unit is out in the market, after the pre-orders are all filled. For the rest of the people who didn't pre-order and were planning on buying it normally they have to pay regular price.

thoughts,

EDIT: also is everyone sure that amazon wont draft my account as soon as in hit the proceed button... ( i never pre-ordered before with them)
Celluloco terms say:

"All mobiles traded at Celluloco.com are sold on a "sales are final" basis and may not be returned to us for exchanges or refunds. Our Returns Department will only issue a Return Authorization Code for the return of a mobile when such mobile is deemed defective or damaged upon arrival. Buyers will have 3 (three) days to report such D.O.A. (dead on arrival/damaged on arrival) from the time of their receipt of their purchased goods."

I dont like the terms but the price is nice.

www.Celluloco.com has a price of US $ 498, but:

V. Pricing Policy

5.1 ... Operating inside this volatile trading environment, it is customary for Celluloco.com to change prices on its products as often as twice in the very same day. ...

5.4 Prices on orders for out-of-stock or pre-release items are valid for the duration of time until the product arrives in our warehouse. If the price changes when stock becomes available or before its availability due to any unexpected announcement by the manufacturer, Celluloco.com will offer the shopper the opportunity of buying the item at the lesser price or cancel the order.

mm so there is a possibility that amazon product be made in china and the nokia store one made in finland ? or they are 100% identical ? mm was the N97 in nokia store made in finland or china ?

Not sure about that. Lots of n97's for example are made in Finland. But quality wise I think it's the same. They use the same components and I bet quality monitoring standards are the same in every nokia factory .
