There will be a Maemo Expo showcasing Maemo 5, the N900 etc. It will be a modest space in the Zuiveringshal East building, with high tables and several nokians demoing different experiences to Summit participants.

If you want we can have one of these tables for maemo.org and you can organize there whatever you will. You have the table, power cables and remember those maemo.org rollups from last year.

btw the lunch will be in the same building, with 240 seats. Everybody going for lunch will cross the Expo. With all these tables, it's quite probable that this will become the de-facto hacking space as well.

This is why this will be renamed as "Community" building.

Also, if you want to prepare a leaflet or similar we can make the prints, give them in the registration and have some more for you just in case some people want to take more.

An opportunity to explain maemo.org, the Maemo community and whatever else you prefer to all the Summit participants, media and Nokia employees from many corners of the company.

Sorry, the Maemo Expo was referenced as 'N900 Experience Area' previously in the schedule. Same concept, same demos of software and devices, only a more casual name.

I like the idea of some sort of leaflet to have available. It should outline what maemo.org is, what happens here, how a person can get involved, etc.

Please, let's start adding content to http://wiki.maemo.org/About_maemo.org . I can try to design something, but at least we'll be able to print out what is contained there (even if not "designed").

Thanks,
Tim

Do I take the lack of explicit answer as YES or as NO?

We are about to rent the tables and organize the space and we need to know.

To what question? "Should there be a table for maemo.org?" I would think default is YES.

Sure, but who is volunteering to manage it? There needs to be 1-2 people all time and it's reasonable to think by default that community guys prefer to go to the sessions.

The intense time is Monday 13-20h and Saturday 10-14h. Before and after is basically closed.
