OK, I download the maemo mapper for the Nokia 770 Latest edition of the 07 HE OS. I'm trying to get a GPS Receiver to work and when I go into the settings and the tab that says GPS, the only option I have there is the GPSD and I don't have any other choice than to use the GPSD. I need to know how to enable the option at the top to Scan for the GPS REceiver. Help and Thanks for eveyone that answers!! Thanks!

There is a problem with the bluetooth access to gps in the later versions of maemo mapper. At least on the devices and/or OS versions where there's no control panel option to start or configure gpsd. To get my N800/OS2007 version of MM 2.6.2 to work I had to apply a couple of fixes to the source code. I made a binary .deb with that fix. I don't know if it will install on a 770 with 2007 HE, but there is at least a possibility.
