Cause if it was an alien, that pitiful expression can be interpreted as an evil last smile in their culture..

Looks like a shaved/albino/mutated sloth to me, you can even see the big claws on the big picture in the first link...
Probably a hoax...

If it was a sloth then I can't imagine them having to run - those guys are sloooow.
