Ovi maps is better, hello? Or don't you know? Google maps via the web browser should be close to an app anyway.

No, not really. Try GMaps sometime on an 800x480 screen. You'll see what I mean.

On Symbian, I'm a user of Ovi Maps for voice guidance, but when I need POI's, I fire Google Maps, and export the points I've found to Ovi. Something like that would be needed on the N900, too.

Ovi Maps is great, I don't get why Nokia isn't giving Turn by Turn Voice Nav to the n900, that makes no sense to me.

What does that mean? Are you saying turn-by-turn isn't available at all? Or are you upset that you will have to pay for it?
