I've been having trouble getting Mapper to display exactly what I want and since there are quite a few massive threads here I thought it might be helpful to have one JUST for URI formats.

I am looking to display one set of maps as Sat images and another as the standard Google Map. I've found the following from the GMaps site but none of these work in MM.

http://mt0.google.com/mt?n=404&v=w2.37
http://mt1.google.com/mt?n=404&v=w2.37
http://mt2.google.com/mt?n=404&v=w2.37
http://mt3.google.com/mt?n=404&v=w2.37

http://kh0.google.com/kh?n=404&v=14
http://kh1.google.com/kh?n=404&v=14
http://kh2.google.com/kh?n=404&v=14
http://kh3.google.com/kh?n=404&v=14

http://mt0.google.com/mt?n=404&v=w2t.38
http://mt1.google.com/mt?n=404&v=w2t.38
http://mt2.google.com/mt?n=404&v=w2t.38
http://mt3.google.com/mt?n=404&v=w2t.38

I am in the US ... Westchester NY.

FYI, you shouldn't use the mt0 mt1 etc urls, rather use just mt.google.etc.

The way things work mt.x.x.x redirects you to one of the others and bypasses any broken, overworked, etc ones. If you use mt0 and it's down your out of luck, but if you use mt and mt0 is down you'll never know it's down.

Thanks! Excellent help! I used the first link for Sat images and it's downloading very nicely! It will be much easier to view Street maps in the car ... before I could only get Sat view which was amazingly cool, but hard to glance at while driving.

The URI's are listed in the second post of the Maemo Mapper v1.3.x thread, too, in case you forget.

Thanks! This is most helpful!

I just loaded Virtual Earth for the first time and personally I like the look of the street map more than Google, but I noticed that the Google map is actually more current. My street does not exist in VE... but it was recently updated in GMaps.
