I think that's best. The browser trick is a multi-purpose method that also allows hovering, I think that's unnecessarily complex (and hidden) in a normal case, especially if the application has a toolbar already.

The xterm uses the same icons as the browser does, but it is not part of any spec. So adding a new selection icon doesn't seem like such a bad idea (maybe it could become part of the SDK at some point). Note that I am not 100% sure that a similar icon doesn't already exist.

If you could write an enhancement request on bugzilla, IŽll do it I would integrate an option which lets you select whether or not to select the complete note.

Tim, I like the icon, but I'm still having problems with the HildonTextView. I'll have to wait (or write a big work around) until this bug is resolved: https://bugs.maemo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=4619

Other opinions of course also welcome
How about taking the first line of text (or a truncated version) as the new note name, if one isn't otherwise specified by the user?

That's how it work now
There is no other way to specify the title of a note.

A new bug fix version is available including the nice new icons from Tim. The Fremantle version is again aligned with the Diablo and Chinook version, so should move back to the original thread where you also can find the announcement!

Hello,
I tried to test the syncing to snowy (git) with the conboy version in extras-testing (0.6.2)

Syncing snowy between my desktop tomboy client and my snowy server works

But I get the following error when trying to authorize conboy on my snowy server: 'Settings' object has no attribute 'OAUTH_CALLBACK_VIEW'
The complete error is here : http://staz.be/tup/2009-12/authenticate.html

Has anyone encountered this error and know what provoke it?

Thanks in advance,
Staz.

Hi,

I think the reason it, that Snowy does not yet support OAuth 1.0a, but only 1.0. And Conboy is currently only support in OAUth 1.0a.

I'm sure the Snowy guys will implement the "a" extension soon, because everything else is considered to be unsecure.

Anyways the sync (on Conboy side) is still mostly broken, so maybe you simply want to wait a bit longer. The most recent discussion is currently in this thread: http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=28355

Thanks for the information.
Another problem I've noticed since upgrading to Conboy 6.2 (and still in 6.3) is that conboy is not present in the menu anymore and my desktop shortcut was also removed. I have to launch it in osso-xterm now, is it a known problem?
