I personally think "bad form" is too weak. I think "plagiarism" would be an entirely fair description. At the risk of being unoriginal here, I hate copycat sites. They seem like attempts to make money off someone else's work and that's just lame IMO.

A decent reposter would have direct-linked and only posted attributed excerpts.

If they used Google Translate twice so you learn easily

Errr... i meant...

Yes they use Google Translate twice so you won't find out easily.

[EDIT: English -> Serbian -> English ]

Notwithstanding the link at the bottom of the web pages, the content of individual posts is very likely to be under the Creative Commons license, even assuming (a bold assumption indeed) that the terms of use behind the link at teh bottom of the page are legally binding. Perhaps there was some language as part of the signup process that I have long since forgotten?

If the content of individual posts is not creative commons, any verbatim copying by somebody other than the author or this web site will very likely breach the author's rights if done without their consent.

trollo ehh, JayOnThaBeat states license in his signature. Although AFAIK there is not one defacto "Creative Commons license".

You can see at the bottom of the site, the aforementioned douche apologizes for violating copyright, because that blog post actually stated a copyright.
I meant, http://blog.omgili.com/?p=108

Duplicate posts will usually end up getting somewhat penalized via Google's rankings.

I've had a recent run-in with a notorious content stealer and it got downright nasty. But I stuck to my guns... they removed the content.

I keep telling people that b*tching pays off.

They changed the credit on the site to read

From http://talk.maemo.org and credit goes to Jay Haltom (JayOnTheBeat)

They spelled my handle wrong, but it's close enough I suppose.

That's...odd. Well, I hope you lived it up while it lasted.
