That's what I've been thinking and saying. That's why I make sure to thank useful posts. Too bad they don't get a nice effect like some bolder outlines or something to make them stand out depending on how much they were thanked.

That's one flaw with this format of forum.
We've got nearly 60 pages of blabber - I'm not wading through that. I want to read the initial post to find out what the deal is....I may read through the first couple pages at most, and if I don't read anything interesting (and if I think I have something to say) I'll hit reply.
Far better are those forums that have a mechanism for promoting the most useful replies to the top (eg. stackoverflow.com).
