I would join such a club. Set up a yahoo group or something I am sure we can gather enough membership fees to place the first bulk order of battery's stands covers etc.
All the members get together and vote on what we should try to keep in stock type thing.
Try to get 250+tax+shipping in membership fees so that we can order the first list then have in the bank enough to cover the next order when needed.
Should work well/

If you need parftgs for your n810, I fvound a place that might be able to help. I needed a replacement stylus and aftger a month of searching and going round and round with nokia support, I found a place in NYC called 'Jacks place' that could order it from their distributor. Google it for their phone number.

Whats really strange is why Nokia does this. (Or rather: Doesn't do this.) Don't they want to cut costs? Do they need some extra employment program? Don't they want to sell parts that would cost less than $10 anywhere else for $30 (as they usually do)?
I remember 2 years ago we had something similar (or worse) in our company. When I asked the responsible manager about it, he said: "You know how it is. There'll come a time when they hire consultants again for a cost cutting program. I need to be prepared for this and make sure they find something here they can work on without affecting my real business." - His strategy was successful. We had Mckinsey this time (very strange people), and they did exactly what he'd expected. While we're all fighting to get our businesses running again with 20% of the staff missing (losing customers and money as we stumble along - well done, mckinsey), his department is doing fine.
Maybe the person @ Nokia who's responsible for this nonsense is just as wise.

After I explained to him that it wasn't a warranty issue, he still said that the only way to get the parts was to send it in, wait for Nokia to send me a letter stating that it wouldn't be covered and a price to repair it.
Who else thinks that is totally backwards. Surely charging my credit card and sending out the part would be more time and cost efficient for everyone involved. Lame.
Does anyone know where you can get replacement parts?

This person is probably making a good amount of money on parting out broken N810s.
Also LMAO at the fake phones they are selling. Dummy n95s for $3, hahaha.
EDIT: Also seems to have 3x n800 kickstands.
