As Maemo moves to the mainstream, it would be nice to see how the community is growing.

The current about community page is listing 18000 members, any chance this can be updated as I understand this has busted the 25K number now.

How are people dropped from the community?

I suspect that you'd have to send your death certificate and that probably wouldn't do it either. But maybe II'm wrong.

My estimate, for onedotzero - taking into account maemo.org and talk.maemo.org was 25,000.

After 300 people voted in the council election; I'd downgrade that estimate dramatically say the Maemo community was currently about 2,000 people.

The 25,000 accounts registered at tmo are not indicative of much: over half of them have been deleted as they were created for spamming purposes only. When I was doing the investigation to ensure that tmo users could vote, there were 12,500 "current" tmo accounts. ~1700 of them were eligible to vote and hadn't yet linked their accounts.
