Sorry, I couldn't answer this one early myself, got my own problem also. Anyway. I agree I have that problem also. And my solution is the same as your. If you are in your windows box, then use the command line and hit "ping -t -l 1 n800", n800 being your n800's IP address. There isn't much to control on the windows regarding the gap between each ping packet, but you can minimize the traffic by lowering the packet size to 1 byte instead of 32 bytes
