Thank you! This makes installing apps SO much easier.

Nokia should provide something like this.

And a similar project would be to make a updated list of sources installable via .install or .deb, using a script like this:
http://www.todosymbian.com/gate.html...wtopic&t=31284
that checks if the repositories are down and creating a on demand .install / .deb with all the "on air" repos.

(I don't know how, but I think that would be great)

Is this single repository being maintained? Just recently I have noticed it does not connect any longer.

This repo is not working for at least 2 weeks...
I think that a similar one should exist, and be maintained by, for example, ITT
It was quite useful.

Any chance we could have something like this for those using OS 2007 hacker edition on the 770?

Hey Guys!

I think the Idead of having something like that for the Hacker-Edition would be great.

But first things first:
I've got a Linux server with enough Bandwith to provide a repository for the os2006 and the hacker edition. Only thing is... i've got no idea how to get one up and running. So if someone would be so kind to provide some advice I will see what I cand do about it.

Wow, that would be sweet. Unfortunately I have nothing to add knowledge wise, just my vote.
