lcuk, I've heard members don't like the .org, so I've officially banished it from my private and public conversations as of this morning. I've passed it along to the rest of the guys, too.
No, "the rest of the guys" are encouraged to continue using it... that way, when we hear it again, we'll know who they are.

I used to love this guy, but sheesh, Jay! Let me make it. You seem to be digging at me, and its not comfortable. You know I got that Bruce Banner syndrome. I'm trying to do the right thing. Don't take advantage and dig more. I said I'll stop saying it. Isn't that enough?

liqbase is anything but pretty!
its a trainwreck of my lack of design skills.

if you want to see makeup, just wait till people start making their own liq* apps in it

Geeze, this thread went from exhalation to the opposite.

What I've disliked about Google is the way they are automatically given the inside track. For example, my N810 blinks when a message for me comes in on Google Mail. Our docs don't bother to mention Yahoo Mail. Why is that?

- Google wave
- Chromium
- V8
- O3D
- Summer of Code
- Android (carriers can close bits, but it is oss)
- Books (yes, the kind you read, the worlds largest library?)
- Gears
- etc

Plus they contribute to industry driving oss projects like Hadoop and its tools (yahoo is by far the primary contributer).

Now, I'm sure there are many motivations for improving the bottom line, but google has been a very visible proponent of oss. This is good as they're helping to set the trend, and because of their size, this is an influence that we all feel.

Good point- GOOGLE does not suck- ANDROID does

Android is the Vista of portable OS's. A resource hungry thing that will need more power- 3430 (Sholes) to run smoothly.
