Hi,

I really love the system about GTD. There is a popular app on iPhone which is able to do this in a simple way. Some of yours probably know this:

I just want to ask, is there is any similiar applications for Maemo 5 ? I'm planning to buy a N900 and this app is really a must-one.

Thanks in advance

I was looking for one myself, and found this:

Looks like it might have been abandoned at alpha stage.

I would be very happy with colour categories on email for GTD.

This is one of the main things I need and thus want to start making for the N900. Currently I use Palm OS/Datebk6/Progect and something that works as well or better is my aim.

Hello to Everybody.

I ordered the N900 on the Nokia online shop.

I hope also that someone will develop a GTD application because I badly need it.
It would be nice also that the PIM client of N900 support the tags, colors and could be integrated for use of Action, Delegate, etc....

I hope that the Mail for Exchange problems with Exchange 2003 will be solved and that the entire protocol will be soon implemented.

I hope that the new Qt framework will give an impulse of developing business apps for this beautiful "smartphone".

A loto of "hope"...we'll see...

As there are so many GTD apps on other platforms, I'm sure there will be a few to choose from for Maemo, eventually. But what I most want to colour categories on email, and that looks unlikely ever to happen, unless Microsoft make Outlook for Maemo (I heard that they are making Mobile Office for Symbian).

While yes it doesn't look like any work has been done on it for a long time, there is source code: https://garage.maemo.org/plugins/scm...p/?root=notyet

Has anyone tried it yet? Might be a decent starting point for an app.

I use(d) a hacked version of GPE tod. GPE todo allows you to make multiple categories and assign a todo to any number of categories. todo's also can have an associated due date. However a) the default gui is not sufficiently friendly and b) I really wish there was a way to have todo recurrences. There is not a concept of scheduled things showing up in a "today" category but gpe todo will automatically sort by date in ascending order.

I can't speak for any new N900 development but, as much as I've looked, there are no real GTD apps available for the N810 so I wouldn't hold your breath waiting for them to appear on the N900. All I've found are what I would term simple to do lists. Like sarahn, I've settled on GPE todo as the best of what's out there.

What's missing from GPE todo?

All I know about GPE todo is what I've seen here:

http://www.kernelconcepts.de/~fuchs/...ndex.html#AEN7

It seems to do most of what's really needed to be able to run GTD. However, I wonder if there is a way to run back up? Can I attach any type of notes or comments to the tasks? Can I sort them by date of entry? Any knowledge from GPE todo users welcomed!
