Amazon.com will allow a Canadian Billing Address (which is required if you use a canadian cc as the billing address and registration address on the cc must amtch) and then I can ship to a US address to pick up, but its 30 USD more expensive than BUY.com, which won't allow the canadian billing address.
If we were going to do a Maemo meetup maybe having some purpose/justification for it would help convince people to make it out? I mean I'm in Milton and work in Mississauga, so I'm right around the corner from you there j.m so I'm always up for some Maemo'ing ;-) I've got a few buddies in teh area who are Maemo-ites too, but it'd be pretty cool to have a meetup with Maemo people from around town!
