It might be a question of warranties. UK versions warranty on valid in UK.

i see and is the US version warrenty worldwide ? its still strange cz the us version is cheaper !

after a call by the nokia aftersalesteam in germany, they said, that the shipment will start at the 25. November 2009

Maybe it will ship a bit earlier. I have ordered an N900 from a phone distributor. (I work for a retailer) I call them every week to tell me if there is any news about the N900.

Here is what they told me in chronological order:

First or second week of October but this is not confirmed
Week 44
Week 45 or 46 because Nokia postponed it
Today: We think week 45

Here is the original mail in German:

Guten Tag Herr xxxx!

Nokia N900 sollte ca. KW45 lieferbar sein.

Näheres kann ich Ihnen leider noch nicht sagen.

Apparently 3 different service providers(DK) and sellers of mobilephones have actually moved the release date forward to next week. Could this be it?

Both Telmore and Elro have confimed they will have it next week. Even Telmore have postet it on their website. And CallMe have also moved the date to next week.
