Does the N900 scale to operational needs or fixed?

Are there CPU scaling options?

Is the VR 3D always on or only for 3D? If also providing the video acceleration, it would always be on of course.

Thinking of these issues due to battery size.

Yes, ARM CPUs do that. They're very good at that, and scale very often. Does not need to be fixed or touched by user.
