O.K. sorry for the tease. Just trying to focus some attention to this thread so that maybe one of the geniuses who cruise the forums might come up with a solution.

I've searched the forums to learn if it's possible to transfer from a USB mass storage device without using a computer. Wouldn't it be cool to be able transfer stuff from your ipod, flash memory, or external hard drive? Turns out there is a way to do it using a device called the Hitch. However, it costs $80 ish (on Ebay) and just adds another device to carry around.

I've also seen where Thoughtfix has made a powered USB hub that can be used with a USB mass storage device to transfer data (I think) but it looks sorta difficult to make one to this NOOB.

Can anyone devise a way to link an ipod directly with a tablet and transfer stuff?

Yup. There is a way. I have been doing it for about 3 weeks now.

I teased you back. However there is a way to get your iPod library onto your N800 if you have a Mac.
