To see and understand the history of Maemo and Nokia devices, you guys perspective is understandable. When Nokia is really start to do global marketing of Maemo based devices somedays later, then, it will hire more developers to make as much as possible people around the world happy and statisify with the "offical" mark applications rather than you guys here.

We will see. who is the final dumb as*hole.
Symbian has the market share. But Symbian has lost its glance due the lack of a "flashy" UI. Google (Android) has the money. But considering Google's products and services as open is an insult to the term openness in general. Apple had the hype, but it's mostly gone now, and so are the sales (see Q309 figures for reference). While Maemo has none of these factors, it does have something else: freedom and openness.

In short: Maemo has something that no one else does.

You don't have to believe in classic sagas that the good will always defeat the evil to understand that Maemo has potential. But the real question is if its potential will be utilized - and nothing else - not whether it has potential, or whether N900 will match the N95's sales. That's because those questions are either silly or less relevant to an OS' success. The N900's quantity success sales wise in America does in no possible ways determine whether Maemo as an OS will decline. Neither does America equal to the entire world, nor does N900 equal to Maemo.

If I would insult you, then it would be a sign of that I lack arguments for my opinion, which obviously isn't the case. Sorry, but I'll have to make you disappointed; I won't do what you're asking for.

My friend, she's Chinese, in Guangzhou... and typed it for me when I asked for a translation.

I just copied and pasted. My chinese is still too rudimentary - I read/type it as an American "ni hao, hao a, ni ne" stuff like that. I'll get to characters shortly.

I'm in China right now and decided rather than to endure the wait for a n900, and then have it shipped here, I'd go to the nokia store and get a N86 8MP. it's great. s60 ed3 fp2 with great a great chinese IME, 3 dictionaries builtin, and 3G. I use China Unicom for 3G, however, be prepared, they are very restrictive with what type of services you can access over the 3G. no voip, no sockets, and lots of sites are redirected. i choose the N86 b/c its got the latest symbian os (without touch screen, b/c i don't think that is stable yet), 3g, and a decent camera. in retrospect, a qwerty keyboard would have been nice, and touch screen is desired once the technology (software!) is there. i think i'll wait for maemo 6

funny to see this topic. first time i've visited the board in a few weeks, and this was the first thread i clicked on. ha!

good translation of: 为什么你如此的生气
which means literally "for what reason, you, in this way, of, angry"

My friend has a 5800 Xpress Music and I he has never said anything that I am aware of about touch screen problems in Symbian. The ONLY problem he has is a lack of Kinetic scrolling and a few other things that were rumoured to be supported in later firmware but has yet to materialise.

Definitions of internet tablet on the Web:
Internet Tablet is the name of a range of mobile internet appliances made by Nokia that focus on internet and media features
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Internet_Tablet

N900 does all that, hence classed as an internet tablet.

Reciprocally, stop talking about Nokia unless you speak Finnish.

I post this is for talk about tech way of the N900 product, which can make more money from different region market via to support multi-language and regions for the final release. but if this product cannot do that, or you (programmers?) have no the ability to do that, please do not talk like a girls.
Yay for sexism -- what better way to win an argument!
Finally, i have to say i am not going to continue to reply this thread at all, it is kind of waste my time.
Thanks. It's a waste of everyone else's time, too, and you're being quite offensive.
