Hello, I wanted to say thanks for the program: in addition to being a perfect route tracker, it is also the only useful mapping application for Maemo5 at the moment (builtin Maps being close to unusable, and Maemo Mapper not being available yet). Based on that, I wanted to ask if it would be possible to make eCoach switch maps sources on the fly, without having to restart the program?

Thanks for the feedback!

I will have to think what would be the best solution to implement map source switching on the fly. Lets see if i can add it in the next version.

It might be true that Polar has only sold this model with N79, but is that a problem? Many people has this device and would like to use it with N900. And I think Polar will someday -soon?- sell it separately also..

It would be also great if it could use same maps with GPXview and maemo mapper. Now I need to download same maps with all these programs. Also possibility to force map overwrite would be nice feature.

N900 and FRWD B600 heart rate didn't work for me when I tried it last night. I will do some more testing today to see if I can found some reason for that. Thanks a lot for great application!

It worked only few seconds and when I started recording in FRWD and eCoach it stopped few seconds after that. Should it work also when FRWD is recording? And also can there be '_' in the FRWDs name as my device is named like 'MVe_FRWD' ? I can't test these before next week my self.

Also one question about calendar implementation. Will eCoach entries stay in the calendar when remove old entries is used in calendar settings?

Hey

It should work as long as the device name contains "FRWD"
I never tested with FRWD recording on so it could be that.

If i remember correct some FRWD B600's had a bug that they just randomly stopped sending data to bluetooth...

This was a good find, thanx. At the moment old entries are deleted if you set that option in the settings. I have to find a way to prevent this.
