Heh, no. That' why a mirror is magical - it always flips left and right (from your viewpoint). If you turn the device, left and right become top and bottom so the image is wrong (upside down) - that's why you would need to compensate in software. Ok, so portrait. Not a biggie if it needs to be changed later.

Since hot girls are not nice to nerds why should nerds do anything for females, especially go out of their way. Don't do it guys. Let them envy us males with our high tech N900's.

[LIST][*]an easy-to-use Delicious Library-type application that:.
- uses lardman's work on barcode scanning via the camera to help catalogue her collections of console video games, movies, CDs, and manga
- notes which games she's loaning to her sister & provides the full list on demand
- provides a quick link from each game to the appropriate pages on GameFAQs
- searches Amazon automatically as she enters wanted items to suggest matches
- automatically pushes wanted items to her Amazon wishlist
- periodically checks Amazon for the most up-to-date release dates for wanted manga and updates countdown home applet accordingly
- additionally catalogs collectible cards and helps build and submit saved searches on eBay for the missing items

* Props to the mirror. I love that idea.
* I would totally use that time-of-month tracker. if it was made right, i would find it the most useful app ever. I also agree that the fertility tracking part would be pretty useful.
* Im not sure whats already available; but I love making lists... about anything. So if there was an application that could let you write really quick little post-it notes. I guess like Tomboy Notes, but for maemo.
* I would also use a simple household budgeting application. For example, I have a budget for how much I can spend on food each week... so i would love it if I could enter the total of my grocery shopping straight into my phone while I am still out, and then if i go out for dinner I can checkup to see how much I have left to spend, etc,... but just really simple...
* Some kind of fitness/GPS app would be good, but this has probably been discussed in other places.
* I use 'gourmet recipe manager' on ubuntu, and would think it would be great if I could use it on maemo also. Having access to my recipes in the manager while I am on holidays etc, and maybe having the shopping list function port to maemo rather than a printable file.
