The new series of Top Gear is on and they just showed them pairing their phones to their supercars (Lambourghini, Aston Martin DBS and Ferrari California) via bluetooth. Later they used their phone to measure the decibel level of the cars driving by. The phone used (by Richard Hammond and Jeremy Clarkson) were iPhones

They didn't show - or I didn't notice - which phone James May used in the Lambourghini.

I'll be watching that later, so I'll see if I can get a decent freeze-frame (Sony PS3 + playTV FTW!)

What do you expect though, these are the people most likely to buy into Apple. They need to be "up with the trend" and if the N900 suddenly became the fashionable/cool device to have I am sure they would get one.

Not to mention that for the end user, the iPhone is still the easier phone to use and install apps on. Personally I do not find this, but I am someone who likes to easily browse the options available rather than install the first app I find that claims to do what I want. Most people I believe are not like me, they WILL just install the first app they find and live with it, even if its not the best app for the job.
