The guy who pre-ordered the N900 in the US on my behalf, just canceled it with Newegge after he said he heard nothing from them 
I mean just when i felt things couldn't go any worse for me :S now If i pre-order i would have to join the back line. sigh! .. am really starting to think its really not worth it. I can always get the phone when its really out anyway. As this fiasco drag on more and more, am tempted to seek alternatives which i can use as stop gap till the phone is generally available (maybe in February ) right now am considering the N97 mini or the iPhone 3gs
