I've had my N900 since Friday evening and I can honestly say that this guy is full of crap. He sounds like a loudmouth high school kid looking for attention. He doesn't even own the device and complains about it? Buggy software? WTH!?! Can't feel the haptic feedback!?! I get so angry about this. This person has no idea what they are talking about!!!! With every point he tries to make he is making more of a fool of himself.

So you didn't have any problems with scrolling disabled or freezes or anything similiar?

No freezes and scrolling works just fine.

Of course who knows what the long-term experience is, I couldn't possibly say after two days, but so far very impressed with how the menus and main applications work and interact.

I do acknowledge, like everyone here I'm sure who understand the phones position as a sort of early adopter/tech-head/developer "preview model" (albeit a production one), N900 needs more work on the software (missing features like MMS, rSAP, old Maps, vertical mode support etc.), but overall it is very promising. The browser and user-interface are very nice.

Reality Check you need a reality check. Am I really supposed to take your opinion ( "I have held one! In my hands and everything!" ) over that of people who actually have owned or thoroughly tested the device.

Youre either bored, a paid-troller or just jealous.

And you've exposed yourself as irrelevant and stupid. Shush now.

You should read again, because he does own the device, that's why he's complaining of all the problems. Their are also three other people besides him who also have the device that have responded to the OP that they too are having the same issues. I hope when my baby get's here I don't have these same issues. It's illogical to think that all the units will be 'perfect' but having so many issues is questionable.

**On another note, someone mentioned a trick for bookmarks for swiping from right to left....what's he talking about?

You have a "friend" that has a pre-production N900? How convenient..

I also have a "friend" that has pre-production N910 and I'm disappointed that it doesn't shoot rainbows out of the camera at the press of a button.

I think we were talking of the original poster of this thread who didn't have the N900?

The person who said "buggy software", apparently was the one on the other forums and he claims to own a device.
