My pocket will be protection enough. Keys and coins in the _other_ pocket though :-)
That's why I'm using the full body shield from Zagg, which won't add any size to the body--the Nokia N900 leather carrying case will be just for carrying the phone.

I can second this, always had good experiences with durasecs. And the description on their page sounds promising. I guess I'll buy that one.

Recently, you submitted your name to send us your Nokia N900 for us to design an invisibleSHIELD for it. We have now received enough requests for this device that we would like to design an invisibleSHIELD for it.
"

So I guess they will be making it after it is released, problem is you may have to wait for the skin as it probably won't be around for a few weeks after the release.

If you haven't seen these before, I can recommend them very highly as I have one for my N95. They are very good for protection/anti glare and has saved my N95 from quite a few stratches!! The installation is relatively simple and easy and has very low impact on the device as the skin is very very thin, also it helps with the grip on the device as well, which might be useful for the one handed landscape mode! They also offer just the screen cover (rather than the whole body) on many of the devices on the website so I guess they will for N900 too, but I would go for the whole thing!

The only point I would add is that the N95 is not touch screen so I can't comment on if this affects the touch screen aspect in anyway but I guess not as there are other sheilds for touch screen devices on the website.

Hope that helps/adds another option.....
Zagg posted their product on the American site at the weekend. I found Expansys have it on theirs now (http://www.expansys.com/d.aspx?i=192007) too so can order from a UK company at last. My order is placed with cheapy shipping via Royal Mail so ETA is about January! LOl.

When it arrives can you do a mini review of the response compared to the naked device? I'll try to do the same then we have a comparison of the two main solutions!

So which should one get.
The Durasec or Zagg or maybe something else?

I have already got the cp-321 leather case and it is really nice(wish i had the phone to go in it).
I am planning on getting the ZAGG full body protector for it as well. My only concern is some people have reported that it is hard to use a stylus on them.
The durasec ones got horrible reviews i honestly couldn't find a positive one.

There are the 3m made screen protectors sold at protectionfilms24.com but they seem quite expensive and do not come with the applier like the ZAGG protectors.

Yes, please do a review of durasec, I've only had experience with Zagg's InvisibleShield and I am considering Durasec. Zagg's is great for protecting your device but it makes it hard to draw and handwrite with the stylus.

I have a Vikuiti DQC-160 screen protector laying around right beside my monitor. Of course I can't say anything about it - since the N900 itself isn't even shipped yet.

My decission for Vikuiti was based on quite some reasearch in several PDA and smartphone forums. Durasec only got very mixed comments, especially a sticky film when removing the protector appeared in some comments. Vikuiti protectors recieved basicly complete positive comments.

In addition to that, schutzfolien24.de offers free shipping for germany. So I only paid about 9,- €uros for the protector. Delivery was fast, ordered on sunday evening, it got shipped monday morning and I got it on tuesday.
Their international site would be protectionfilms24.com, just search for the N900.
