Smaller vendors will do everything they want to rip you up when they know you can't get the phones officially in the market.
My friend told me that a shop had 8 N900 units 2 weeks ago and sold them for 800$ in Bahrain.
Another couple of questions,
can I buy it from Amazon? because their price is much better,Or they offer only the US version?and can they ship it to Egypt?

Amazon will not ship electronics to non-Us addresses "officially"
However, you can use Aramex Shop 'n' Ship service to open a P.O. Box in the state and ship it to that address, Aramex will later on ship it to your local address. the service will cost around 20$ (not sure) and Aramex shipping will cost you 104 EGP according to their shipping calculator.
It will take a week to arrive once it reaches your Us PO Box.

keep in mind that you won't get the rebate.

Thank you very much for your help.

But, what about the warranty? will it be valid this way?
I saw the US version only on Amazon, is there any other online shop that offers the middle east version?

There will be no warranty.
The only thing I can think of is Expansys, but they will only ship to UAE.

Still, no warranty

yes, it is written, but i called Nokia MEA-Dubai, they told me that,;(still didn't receive any devices officially and it might me beginning or mid of December. Besides, when it be available officially, it will definitely support the arabic fully,,,,'

so i think this copy you have is right the middle east one, but r pre-order versions (by amazon, ebay,...ect), because when i asked the mobile shops here in my country Oman, they told me these devices didn't came from Nokia-Dubai, so 100% Europe version....

cos, ( how come any devices approaches Middle east without full arabic support,,,,, not reasonable)

Watch this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=15IC-ftd5uI ( it is mentioned that, the N900 will be officially available end of November 2009)

Also, regarding the warranty, of course it will not have warranty, cos it still not officially released...(very obvious)

don't Rush & wait at least Month
