Definitely people give more attention to “unexpected reboots” . In one hour they reach 200 replies. That’s bad.

Because concerns are growing that some ( a lot ) of the complaints have not been related to people having too-high expectations, rather ACTUAL faults wiht the device, whether they be hardware or software based.

ie broken mic ( I think its fair enough to expect people you call to be able to hear you, whether youve had experience of the device or not)

Reboots. Again, fair to expect it to not reboot erroneously?

Scrolling lag etc - this is contentious as lots have people have sought to disprove this fault by posting videos of their device showing no lag issues at all - however, what if its hardware failure on that particular device? If so it probably wont be the only one out there with this issue.

Everyone expects the odd bug when you start out as an early adopter, but, having the microphone not work and it randomly restart are pretty obvious showstoppers. The scrolling lag is less important

And how many out of lets say 1000 users are having these issues? Seems like there are some individuals with these issues but let's not exaggerate.

The issues are really a problem and should not be understated but let's not do the opposite.

Let's just say for example I just ordered a new macbook with a harddrive issues and found out from finnish mac forum that there are few people with same harddrive problems. We just sent those macbooks back and had to deal with the issue. I am not going all over the place and shout that macs and macbooks are piece of ****. Macbooks are in my opinion pretty damn good laptops with some issues now and then...

I am very happy with my N900 also. It is a tremendous improvement over my N97, which was driving me nuts and is now for sale.

The browser experience is as it should be in a handheld and I am even happy to have a stylus again. Thumbs up..

It seems that there are lots of people without problems on their N900.
