I have searched the forums etc etc, but do not guarantee that I have missed something, so in that case; I am sorry.
The problem with gPodder is simple enough; It will not download podcasts automatically, though it does work when the download button is pressed.
With GPE-Calendar it simply does not import my Google calendar, not even when done manually. It says it has updated, though it does so immediately without actually doing any work, and nothing is actually imported.
The reason I am wondering if the two are linked is that both are apparently not supposed to happen. It works for other users with the same version. In the two cases I know of where the same problems as I have are occurring they are both occurring, and this makes me wonder if there is any link between the two.
As far as I know I have everything I should have (wget etc), but could there be some kind of component I need, but don't have? Maemo Mapper works, so it does support some kind of automatic downloading.
And just for the record, in case someone hasn't noticed yet, I am what would probably be considered a newbie, so I am sorry if something obvious is wrong.
Thanks
