I used a T-Mobile sim for several hours today. All I did was plug it in.

I was hoping to use a T-Mobile sim today but UPS failed to come through with their "overnight" shipping. Now I get to wait until Friday. As a bonus I get to call T-Mobile and waste a bunch of time getting the charges for shipping refunded. Oh yeah and still stuck on ATT in the meantime with no 3G :-(

I'm wondering if you guys were able to get 3G internet off of the $20 unlimited data + texting plan? I wasn't sure if I was supposed to get a smartphone data plan or whatever...

Yes though TMobile no longer offers that and I believe that was for the G1 only.

Supposedly you can change your settings to get full access from the 10 dollar internet. But I haven't read anywhere that mentions if its speed capped. People have also said it can be problematic as they are blocking smartphone IMEIs. I believe they are in fact doing that due to my discussion (and argument about the difference between the data plans) with the T-Mo reps.

Anyone have working settings? Did you just use the default internet2.voicestream.com?
