BTW, just out of interest they have taken approximately 800 pre-orders at MPD...so god knows how long it will take to ship them out once they do get them in..
I don't care how long it takes as long as they do them in the correct order (hoping I'm near the top! lol).

It would be nice to know which week (or year) the money is going to come out of my bank account though.

Still I see allot of "Decembers" within their chat.

Their website explained and still does that they would get exclusive availability, sounds like there getting the stock around the same time as every other store out there, so basically when every other shop gets stock out there so will they, love the exclusivity here.

Also it still says "end of November" however December sounds nothing like November, seems to me, its a different month.

All different MDP reps are saying different things, either they don't know themselves or they are that badly un-organised that they cannot lie and all have the same story.

The reason why I am getting inpatient probably is the same as everyone else here. Their website says different to what they are telling us, all their stories don't match along with the lack of communication and all they can say is "soon", "December", "End of November".

to be fair; they probably sell hundreds of different models, with a turn over of twenty+ new models a month, and another 20+ revisions of existing models, not to mention thousands of accessories.

when you add all that to a nokia that has no idea when the n900 is going to ship, and consequently changes delivery dates every time they have a coffee break, i am unsurprised that MPD cannot update all their staff instantly, on every change, all the time.

How about in-store stock? Any clues?

If you a faulty one, simply exchange it for another one (though of course that could take a while!)
