Hi all

I can see that the "sim card issue" for 3 sim cards has been solved. Is is possible to download the fix/update on the N900 or is the fix/update only included in the coming firmware 1.1 release which means I will have to wait???

Check out Witter, a twitter client for N900
http://danielwould.wordpress.com/witter

If Witter isn't working for you, eg crashes/doesn't start, gives errors etc etc. Please run it from x-term using:
run-standalone.sh python2.5 /opt/witter/witter.py

This will generate diagnostic output. Without this I cannot help you.

Problem with fMMS? Run in x-terminal: cp /tmp/fmms.log /home/user/MyDocs/
After that you'll see fmms.log in filemanager or when you connect the device to your desktop as a mass storage device.
E-mail the log to me, if you don't have the email address, drop me a PM. Thanks!

It's very very very frustrating to not get any information about this "1.1" after have been steamrolled with the extra delay claimed depending if this 3-SIM problem and some market "jumbo mambo" about a better user experience and volume.
No information about if we (in Sweden) must wait for new batch from Korea or not.

What's going on inside of the Nokia kindergarten?

Well done Nokia, NOT!

Any idea how long we'll have to wait for a firmware update with this fix in? I only have a couple of months left on my 3 contract, so if we're talking weeks before a fix is out, I might just get an o2 sim and be done with it

konttori was hinting in his blog that they are working on releasing the update. From earlier experience this release process takes from this day 0-2 weeks.
