Hi Ching, you might bug a few people here as there are lots and lots of posts about issues already.

May i recommend you search through the n900 pages and look for yourself, use the Search function if necessary. Also the nokia forums could be a good

Have a hunt through - and maybe list them all here in one post could be useful. Asking people to post means we will get another 500 threaded post and no-one will be any the wiser.

There have been a few threads discussing this.

There have been microphone failures for some, unintended and unexpected restarts and a few have had the camera cover come apart.

The lack of verified software seems to be improving pretty quickly. With still very few devices in the hands of users I find new applications in the application manager almost daily. So I can only hope that in 2-3 months, when many more thousands have the phone itīll have much, much more software available.

It is good, it ranks very close to the N95 Iīd say, but the maps application is basically what Iīd say sets them apart for me. The N95 having a more refined maps app.

My experience is a very positive one. No hardware failures and no reboots unneeded. The N900 scared the jeepers out of me yesterday though when it shut down due to low power and didnīt want to start up or charge until Iīd done a soft reset, removing the battery, charging cable and pushing the power button.

My biggest letdown, and I knew itīd not be very good on release, is the ovi maps application. I know thatīll be improved so not too many regrets.

Perhaps you should also look at the bugs thread for the N900 to see whatīs been reported of malfunctions and try to judge from that.

You can check out the bugzilla to see what the real known problems are :-)

hi ching,

here you can find some software issues I collected from some N900 users
but sure Nokia will fix them with upcoming updates..aslo there are unexpected reboot and no mic audio issues but you should know that last 2 issues appeared in some N900 devices not all.

And might a remind you that most of the users that have no problems, naturally would not have reported at all. So a lot of users are probably out there lovin' it.

Not sure I really agree "real known" is not really true in bugzilla (you may have something true across all phones, but 2-votes or something closed with "WORKSFORME" because someone (e.g. me) got tired of how these things are treated (amateurish), but no it doesn't work, I got tired of literally debating with people who forgot who is paying their bills.

So, there may be a "real known" problem that users have. A very small % would bother with bugzilla/maemo.org - just look at the reviews and blogs out there with a lot of repetitive complaints that maemo/Nokia has already closed as 'WONTFIX' with some sent for 'consideration' in Maemo6. You can tell by reading them these users have no clue or idea about the guts of what's behind the N900 roadmap (or seeming lack thereof?)

I see a lot of complaints outside maemo that are very common, even a few bugs I've found myself, that are not in bugzilla (very surprising usually).

Though, I guess they can see how Maemo/Nokia are handling problems or enhancement requests.

Suddenly I restarted my N900 and refused to power on.
And then I flashed it with both EMMC & OS, and worked fine. Now when checked the network was not available and also I cannot send any file via Bluetooth?
Any help will be appreciated.
