im not even so concerned with the arrow buttons, what concerns me that the german version doesnt have an own "," button, instead you need to press the blue button first!
i`d rather buy the uk-version an use "ae", oe and ue, and have an own dedicated "," button, that aside, the umlauts still could be accessed via virtual keyboard.
What exactly does the German layout look like? I can't really find any pictures

Any idea how Nokia handles warranty claims, if you buy the device from another EU country?
At least outside the EU this seems to be a problem. e.g. there are reports in this forum from Canadian N8x0 users who bought their devices in the US and did run into trouble when trying to claim warranty.
Well that sucks :'(... looks like I'll be looking for a way to get a cheap QWERTY...
